Each front is measured with its opening system
Write down the dimensions of the doors and drawers and photograph the inside hinges. The external size does not describe the drilling, fixing or necessary separation between pieces. If the cabinets are preserved, it is also interesting to check their square and the state of the edges before considering the direct replacement of the fronts.
Areas near water need a condition review
A deterioration next to the sink can affect the support, not just the visible finish. The renovation of kitchen doors must distinguish preparation, repair and replacement. This separation allows comparing paint and new fronts knowing which problem solves each alternative and which elements will remain the same after work. See also: kitchen door renovation.
The quote must also include visible sides
In the consultation for Perchel Sur, it indicates which sides, sockets or pieces are visible when modifying the composition. If the damage reaches the cabinets, a renovation of furniture can have a different scope. He asked that the proposal list the parts concerned so as not to compare only a number of doors.
